Top carved from finest 25 year old Englemann Spruce Tonewood, with beautiful, wide, 1/4 cut distinctive grain. The one piece back carved from 25 year old flat sawn European Maple, with a charming, gentle quilted figure / grain. Ribs of similar gently flamed European Maple.

Neck and scroll from a single piece of European maple as well, with soft flame, peg box heel inset like that of a cello. Finest old Ebony fingerboard; finest fittings of Jacaranda wood, appointed with Boxwood pips and collars.

Deep red-brown fused oil varnish, transparent, and shaded over an amber-gold ground. French polished to enhance grain and figure.
